Rachel danced from the age of 3-19 years. Firstly she started at her mums dancing school in the midlands and then she joined Gaynor Walter School of Dance in Newton Abbot. In that time she gained her RAD elementary ballet qualification alongside ISTD advanced qualifications in tap and modern dance. Rachel also had the amazing opportunity to train for a short period of time in Russia with the Bolshoi and Kirov ballet where she gained some amazing memories and experiences. On leaving school she attended Laine Theatre Arts in London where she gained further dance, singing and acting tuition.
Rachel has also choreographed numerous pantomimes for Dawlish and Shaldon Theatre companies and also played various parts in local productions, her biggest achievement was playing Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.
In between the years Rachel has focused on her career and bringing up her 2 children, Kieran and Reya however she has always maintained a passion for dance and musical theatre.
Starting Little Starz has always been a dream which has now come true. The aim of this is to give children the opportunity to use their imagination and creativity in the form of dance and movement combining other elements of learning along the way.
Rachel is very excited to have joined Shona in launching little starz and is really looking forward to working with all of the children and having lots of fun.
